TRMS®, what makes it work

The telecommunication resources management system – TRMS® is a web-based software developed to help large organizations to manage the administrative side of their WAN. The software makes easy the control of the basic databases of a large Wide Area Network and helps the organization interacting with the service providers. The software’s main objectives are:

• Control the values spent regardless the currency in which it was contracted (consolidating all telecom spenditures);
• Control the telco´s invoices guaranteeing that the values charged are the ones defined by the contracts;
• Control all process of contracting, changing, maintaining and canceling a telecom resource, guaranteeing that the quality of service provided is the one defined by the SLA.
• Control the inventory of all telecom resources contracted by all organization's business units appropriating the costs properly per cost center (Including the costs of shared resources);

In addition of that, the software allows the accurate cost verification per connection, per service provider, per contract, per location, per business unit, per cost center allowing each business unit to keep it’s operational independence (Ability to contract and cancel telco´s services) as long it complies with a standardized framework (the software) which allows the headquarter to keep track of all business units activities regards telco contracting.
TRMS® is a way to conciliate these two conflicting strategies, Autonomy to the business units/country managers and need for a centralized administrative control of the network.
