The presence or not of interconnections alternatives, both different kinds of services and different service providers is a crucial factor in terms of defining our perceived importance. Countries where there are few alternatives in terms of interconnections tend to have very limited possibilities in terms of wide area network arrangements and consequently tend to make our services less vital.
